Contracts Manager, George Tily is doing a run and raising money for the Leukaemia Foundation at the same time. The run is the insignificant part and a conduit to raise funds for a charity that his partner’s family have been the beneficiary of over the last 6 months.
”They have been such a help during a time while we learnt firsthand all about the horrible illness that is Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML), it’s a terrible illness, and the foundation is a shining light for anyone effected by blood cancers. I’m a builder and I don’t think i’ll be working on curing cancer, but I can definitely go for a jog and raise a bit of money for them to help work out a cure”.
