It was great to be among a record breaking 1600 attendees at the Women in Property Council Lunch last Thursday.
Hearing from Magda Szubanski, was a pleasure; she reminded us that inclusion is everything and that diversity promotes innovation and profitability but also what it truly means to be brave. Her story was of her family as she described her Aunt and Mum and their courage through World War II, hiding polish children from Nazi soldiers.
Her message was one of working together and support and how very little can be achieved alone but most importantly to have a sense of humor through all, especially the toughest times. ‘’If you want to run fast, you run alone. If you want to run far, you run together’’.
It was great to be a part of and to see so many people showing their commitment towards an inclusive industry.
More than anything I truly and thoroughly enjoyed our time together, as always!
