High level of detail and documented finishes
The project delivered a first floor single-storey facility above the existing operating Day Surgery, including the relocation of the existing Renal Dialysis Unit from its current location in the hospital campus.
The Renal Dialysis Unit comprises of:
- 12 Renal chairs
- 4 Warm Shelled Chairs (changed to full fitout with LDH funding)
- 2 Training Rooms
- 2 Isolation Rooms
- 2 Consult Rooms
Highlights
Detailed Approach
The Dialysis facility was built above an existing and an operational surgery ward. The Lipman team developed a detailed approach to the construction to ensure that the operational facility was not impacted.
Lipman coordinated the services installation through 3D scans of the existing slab and detailed 3D modelling to ensure that the process of installation would not disrupt the hospital operation. The approach was successful and Lipman was able to complete the Renal Dialysis facility without any unplanned interruptions to hospital operations.
