Great progress has been made on the Western Cancer Centre Dubbo, where the project team poured the new radiation therapy bunker walls where the thickness of concrete averages 1400mm.
The new Centre, which is scheduled for completion in 2021, will include a linear accelerator for radiation therapy, chemotherapy treatment spaces, a PET CT scanner for cancer diagnostics, clinic rooms and wellness space to provide support services to patients and their families.
