Charles Sturt University, in partnership with Western Sydney University, is establishing a Joint Program in Medicine for the training and education of doctors in regional, rural and remote Australia. The program will be delivered from Charles Sturt University in Orange, via a soon to be constructed ‘’Academic & Research Hub”.
After successfully completing the enabling / demolition works for ”The Hub” over the past few weeks, Lipman has secured the main contract.
The works consist of:
- Capital Works: including construction of the main hub buildings, student accommodation, an Indigenous Student Centre, conference room and research facilities.
- Refurbishment and extension of existing campus buildings: to create modern learning spaces for the Medicine & Health Sciences group, including informal student learning spaces, upgrades to the Learning Commons, expansion of anatomy facilities and alterations to provide a new ultrasound training area located at Leeds Parade, Orange.
We’re delighted to have won the work, and are looking forward to getting stuck into it.
