Overview
Winning in Wyong
The third stage of the Wyong Hospital Redevelopment focuses on improving the efficiency and quality of a range of existing and new health services, including the Cancer Day Unit, Women’s Health Unit, Aboriginal Health services, the Carer Support Unit, Medical Officers’ office accommodation, an expanded Pathology area, and the Car Park Operator’s office. Lipman recently completed its scope within the $200 million redevelopment, delivering a series of refurbishments that enhance the hospital’s ability to support patients and staff across the Central Coast community.
Our work centred on upgrading key clinical and support areas, including the Cancer Day Unit, the Nunyara Aboriginal Health Unit, the Women’s Centre Clinic, the Carer Support Unit and the expanded Pathology facilities. These improvements form an important part of the hospital’s broader redevelopment program, helping to create more efficient, modern, and patient focused spaces.
Working within a live hospital environment required careful planning and close collaboration. Through early site investigation and proactive coordination with all stakeholders, the team successfully navigated complex conditions to deliver a high quality outcome.
