Reconfiguration of a gym building into a lecture theatre and seminar room teaching spaces.

Client Requirements
Provide more lecture and teaching spaces at the university.

Innovation and Approach
Works involved the partial demolition of the existing structure and the new build of a 500 seat lecture theatre using concrete and light weight steel construction.

The first floor and seminar rooms also used innovative lightweight steel framing and facade solutions to effect budget savings for the University.

The services to the building were developed from concept designs to fully operational installations including power reticulation and substations works, complete client oriented AV and lecture facility electrical works and cost effective mechanical services design and installation.

Outcome
Building facade and internal finishes were constructed to a high standard, fitting of a high profile institutional building.
