Overview
Over 100 TAFEs across NSW
The TAFE Connected Learning Points program involved the rollout of new AV equipment, joinery, acoustic panels, and furniture to over 100 TAFEs across NSW. There were 155 rooms requiring upgrades for the program.
There was a requirement to “make good” several rooms for mechanical, minor electrical, data points, paintwork, blinds, doors, ceilings, and flooring – the final scope of the “make good” works was determined through the completion of an initial inspection, undertaken by Lipman.
To successfully deliver the rollout, Lipman relied heavily on our regional reach to improve serviceability for the project.
The scope was expanded to incorporate a rollout of more customised teaching spaces with three categories of teaching equipment. This change involved 42 additional rooms across the state and focused on more customised audio-visual solutions and existing asset upgrades to meet trade-specific teaching needs.
Using 3D camera scanning technology Lipman was able to produce full Revit models of existing room information, allowing us to accelerate.
