The Project was an early and enabling package for Stage 1 of the upgrade of the Griffith Base Hospital.

The project consisted of 3 milestones – relocation and re-design of an existing modular renal building from Tamworth to Griffith; demolition of an existing asbestos contaminated nurses quarters and service reticulation for future provision of a pop-up cafe. Key innovations included the design of a fast and efficient structural system for the relocated renal building to enable a quick relocation and constant open communication of contamination issues regarding the demolition.
