Three clusters of buildings
Stage 3 at Gracewood was Lipman’s third project within the BaptistCare Gracewood Facility at Kellyville, where we previously completed the Gracewood Clusters 1 and 5 and the RACF.
The client requirements include the design and construction of three clusters of buildings (clusters 2, 3 & 4), which included: 88 independent living units, centralised underground parking for 126 cars, landscaping works, extension of utilities and other associated site works.

The project delivered a high-end senior living residential product for BaptistCare, and will be enjoyed by the end-users for years to come. In both design and execution, the building presents well above the average ILU accommodation available on the market and has been carefully crafted to provide a stylish environment to reside in.

Innovation &
approach
In our endeavours to reduce the project budget for Baptistcare, Lipman elected to manage the materials handling via mobile cranes, manitous and materials hoists. This innovation was complicated by the restricted access around the centre cluster, Cluster 3, with extremely limited access to this cluster for both mobile crane and boom pump operations. Materials handing was largely done to programme and with no accidents or incidents.
