We’re proud to celebrate a fantastic result at the 2026 Master Builders Association of New South Wales Newcastle Excellence in Building Awards, with our Wyong Hospital Redevelopment – Stage 3 Refurbishment project taking out a win.

This refurbishment project transformed existing clinical and support spaces to deliver expanded and upgraded facilities, including the operational Cancer Day Unit and NSW Pathology, and the creation of a new Women’s Health Unit, Aboriginal Health Services, Medical Staff Workspace and Carer Support Unit within previously vacant areas.

Delivered within a live hospital environment, the refurbishment was carefully staged to allow NSW Pathology and the Cancer Day Unit to remain fully operational for the duration of the project. Detailed planning, stakeholder engagement and strict controls around safety, noise, dust, access and infection risk were critical to maintaining uninterrupted patient care.

We celebrate this worthy recognition and extend our thanks to Health Infrastructure, Colliers, and Central Coast Local Health District, as well as the numerous consultants, subcontractors, and community members whose contributions were integral to the project’s success.

We genuinely enjoy working in local communities, and this project is a great example of what can be achieved through strong collaboration and shared commitment.
