We were privileged to speak at Abbotsleigh School during their Women in Construction breakfast, which was for girls in Years 9 to 12. Scott Gleeson and Lauren Davies spoke about career pathways and construction and property industry opportunities.
We also heard from special guest Marianna Southwick, an Abbotsleigh Council member and Property & Development Committee Chair. Marianna spoke about her extensive career as an urban specialist, work opportunities, and overseas learning experiences.
Students enjoyed hearing about the leadership opportunities and varied University pathways into the industry. Lipman will host follow-up sessions with specialists throughout the year on architecture, structural elements, façades and commissioning.
