Our latest video snapshot captures one of the most technical aspects of the project – the demolition of the Level 8 slab – requiring meticulous planning and precise execution.
Planned across four months, the demolition was successfully completed in two. The scope included the removal of a concrete slab suspended over a four-storey void, along with 40 tonnes of structural steel beams reaching depths of up to 2.5 metres. Delivering this safely and efficiently called for a carefully coordinated approach, including the use of a tower crane, Maeda crane and EWP access.
Now that the demolition phase is reaching completion, both the project team and tenants are looking ahead to the next chapter as we transition into construction.
Stay tuned – there’s plenty more transformation ahead.
