George’s experience at board level and understanding of the challenges and opportunities that face the industry are an asset to the corporate governance and strategic planning of Lipman.

Rob joined Lipman in January 2013 to lead our Estimating team, and was subsequently appointed a Director of the Group in December 2015. With over 30 years of industry experience, firstly with a 2nd tier organisation, and later, a 1st tier international, multidisciplinary civil and construction contractor, Rob brings a broad range of experience across varying sectors of the industry, and in project size and complexity. Rob’s business leadership, his conservative, considered nature, and approach to risk management has been instrumental in our recent success, linked to strategic and controlled growth and our realistic and sustainable business plan. His focus on establishing strong relationships with repeat “blue chip” Clients, and motivating our teams to deliver services that compel these Clients to keep coming back to Lipman has our people committed to Rob’s clear vision for the business. Notwithstanding these virtues, arguably Rob’s most valued trait is his authenticity and commitment to honouring and enhancing the 53 year old Lipman culture. A culture built around doing what we say we will do, in a co-operative, creative and caring environment in which we develop our people to reach their full potential.

Over more than 30 years, Paul has honed his skills through practical experience in a broad range of roles including contracts management, site management and project management. Prior to joining Lipman he worked for Westfield D&C, Multiplex and Walker Group but found his home here at Lipman in 2001. Since joining Lipman, Paul has been a key driver in developing and maintaining our strong culture, people, and robust systems. He was appointed Construction Manager in 2005, Construction Director in 2013 and Chief Operating Officer in 2018. His determination to ensure we deliver on our commitments to our valued Clients is paramount. As a result, Paul has played a significant role in nurturing the many long term client relationships which are central to the success of the business. His personal touch, his attention to detail whilst still maintaining an ability to be across all of our projects and our people, is a key factor to his successful leadership style. Paul is a leader with an impeccable level of integrity, and if he says he is going to do something, you can be confident in his commitment to follow through on that undertaking. Paul sets high expectations of himself, and in doing so inspires our teams through “leading by example”. His passion for providing our people with opportunities to grow and develop is widely acknowledged.

Peter joined Lipman in 2013, with 25 years’ of Construction Industry experience, including 13 years with Buildcorp and 5 years with Lucas Stewart, both in Senior Commercial Management roles. In his role with the Lipman Group, Peter provides clear and decisive leadership and strategic planning and analysis to both our finance and commercial teams. He is passionate about attracting bright, enthusiastic staff who are committed to a team based, co-operative culture, and developing them to meet their potential. In doing so, Peter has created depth, and a genuine understanding and broad range of experience within the commercial and financial staff, both in Head Office and on our projects. Peter’s razor sharp mind, strong industry network, and strategic approach to risk identification and mitigation, using best practice systems and processes makes him a key to the Group’s ongoing success.

Angus has over 13 years’ of experience in the construction industry. He joined Lipman in 2007 as a contracts administrator and progressed to Project manager by 2011. Angus’s proactive approach and open style of communication enables him to fully understand client objectives as well as contribute to a positive exchange of ideas. His flair for building solid relationships ensures good communication and enables the team to deal most effectively with challenges. Angus thinks outside the square when faced with any challenge and draws on his knowledge and experience to create effective solutions. Angus was recently appointed as Lipman’s Business Development Manager in 2015. Angus is well suited to this role given his success in building strong client relations through his exceptional communication skills, problem-solving and people management skills.

Elaine is a qualified accountant with CPA Australia and has over 18 years of experience in the Property, Building and Construction industry. Commencing with Lipman as Financial Controller in 2000, Elaine has group responsibilities which include the management of the group’s corporate governance, financial, accounting and taxation matters. Prior to that, she worked for a major international subcontractor firm and a reputable listed property developer. Elaine’s depth of experience in commerce within the industry, along with her versatility and people management skills are key attributes in ensuring Lipman continues to be a strong and healthy company. Her hands-on approach is equally valued as her strategic role as Finance Manager to all stakeholders, and reflects both her commitment to the team and the Board.

Jeremy joined Lipman in November 2018, coming from the role of General Manager, Operations with a second tier competitor, to accept a role within our Group as Commercial Manager. A role that he fulfilled for a total of 13 years during his tenure with Multiplex and later at Richard Crookes. Jeremy has a proven track record of developing and implementing improved internal company systems to streamline the effectiveness of existing processes. He provides authentic mentoring, training, support and management throughout the project lifecycle to our teams, to deliver high quality business outcomes amidst demanding and competing priorities. Jeremy has excellent stakeholder relationship-building and management skills, along with an even handed and efficient style of negotiation that is well aligned with the Lipman Group culture.

Darren commenced his apprenticeship with Lipman in 1986, and over his many years of loyal service he has held roles ranging from Site Manager, Project Manager, and between 2010 & 2014 Minor Works Division Manager, when amongst many other projects, he led our involvement in the refurbishment of numerous cruise ship industry vessels in dry dock. Darren has also been a key member of our training and our workplace reform committees, and always placed a great deal of importance on the engagement and development of our apprentices and cadets. As a strong and compelling leader, and a person who gravitates towards developing our people, both technically and culturally, he was the natural choice when the decision was made in 2018 to dedicate a leader and champion of our culture, to focus on strategically attracting, training and retaining the best people in the industry for the Lipman Group.

Michael joined Lipman in 2015 as a Senior Estimator, bringing to the Group his broad range of experience across all industry sectors in all major forms of procurement. Michael’s clarity of thinking and communicating, coupled with his integrity, quickly led to Michael being acknowledged as a Senior leader that directed many of our most important and challenging ECI undertakings, which ultimately gave rise to “best for project outcomes” for many of our highly valued, repeat Clients. Michael epitomises the commitments of our Group, with his integrity, commitment, creativity and drive to exceed expectations. His peers respect him as someone who does what he commits to doing, and for all these reasons, when our Estimating Director, Rob MacKee moved on to the role of Group CEO, Michael was the obvious choice to lead our Estimating team.

Mark started his career in the construction industry in 1982 and has progressed through roles of Leading Hand, Foreman, Site Manager and Project Manager. Mark joined Lipman as a Foreman in 1989 bringing ground up experience, expertise and a sound knowledge of the construction industry. Mark has wide experience in a variety of projects ranging from educational, commercial, industrial, residential and health care. Mark was appointed Construction Manager in 2010. An exceptional communicator, Mark’s project teams are always focussed and committed to the task at hand. Mark has a hands-on management style and is always out and about the site. Subcontractors and clients quickly learn to appreciate his commitment to the project goals. Mark has a proven track record of on time completion of projects above and beyond clients’ expectations.

Chad joined Lipman in October 2018 with over 30 years of experience in the property and construction industry. During his career, Chad has held both Senior Management roles and project delivery roles on projects up to $400m. Chad joined the Lipman team to aid with the management of major projects and brings another level of depth and a complimentary business outlook to our Senior Management team. His professionalism, commitment and leadership is immediately evident to all those who come into contact with Chad.

Over 23 years of business management and improvement systems development, implementation and maintenance experience, within the Manufacturing, Servicing, Construction, and Operations & Maintenance industries. Turker has an extensive history of implementation and monitoring of Integrated Systems across a range of business units. This experience enables Turker to develop a thorough appreciation of each project’s unique requirements, working with the project team to develop Lipman’s Project Plan to reflect the specific WHS, Environmental and Quality outcomes. His attention to detail ensures that each Lipman project team has the support they need to successfully meet and exceed their client’s expectations regarding WHS, Environmental and Quality.

With over 35 years architectural experience, Wal brings extensive experience across a broad range of projects including residential, hotel, retail, commercial, education and recreation, covering all facets of design, documentation and administration. Wal’s dedication to detail and his extensive base knowledge of architectural details, material selections and good design practice, brings added depth to Lipman’s design management capabilities. Combined with Wal’s understanding of ESD and statutory compliance requirements, his clients can feel confident that the design team will deliver highly efficient, compliant and well designed building. Having been on the design team “side of the fence” Wal adds balance to the healthy debate a successful design team needs to deliver a quality product.

Scott has ultimate responsibility for the successful delivery of all Regional Projects in accordance with the Company’s objectives, and Contract obligations. In doing so , Scott will ensure that Lipman’s core values of “co-operation “, “integrity” and “doing what we say we will do” are implemented across all elements of the delivery process. Scott’s role is to ensure that delivery teams remain focused on the Lipman “Client First” initiative which has been implemented to ensure that the client’s best interests are always at the forefront of all delivery actions.

Andrew joined Lipman as a cadet in 2006 and gained experience working on a variety of projects. On the weight of an impressive track record in programming and dealing effectively with contractors & clients while working in large complex live environments, Andrew was promoted to a Project Management role in 2011. Andrew’s natural affinity with people & his proactive approach are a formidable combination. Clients & colleagues alike respond well to Andrew’s spirit of co-operation & his determination to find innovative solutions to the inevitable challenges. Andrew has been recently promoted to Lipman’s Regional Construction Manager in 2016.

Darren is a Construction & Design Manager with extensive experience on medium & large-scale commercial, residential, civil, & industrial projects to $100m+ budgets. Darren possesses a depth of experience in construction project management including stakeholder & landowner relationship management, the ability to liaise and prioritise key tasks with subcontracting staff, budget allocation, & delivering all milestones on time & to achieve overall project success. Darren also has extensive experience in a wide range of civil & water infrastructure projects & has the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
