George’s experience at board level and understanding of the challenges and opportunities that face the industry are an asset to the corporate governance and strategic planning of Lipman.

David joined Lipman in 1990 and has extensive experience in project delivery and general construction management. David’s creative problem solving approach to construction challenges adds value to property investment outcomes. David was appointed Managing Director in July 2013, having been Construction Director from 2001 to June 2013.

Paul became Construction Director in July 2013. Paul joined Lipman in January 2000 and has over 20 years experience in project delivery with a strong focus on achieving project objectives. Paul consistently ensures quality, time and cost targets are achieved and strong relationships are established.

Angus has over 13 years’ of experience in the construction industry. He joined Lipman in 2007 as a contracts administrator and progressed to Project manager by 2011. Angus’s proactive approach and open style of communication enables him to fully understand client objectives as well as contribute to a positive exchange of ideas. His flair for building solid relationships ensures good communication and enables the team to deal most effectively with challenges. Angus thinks outside the square when faced with any challenge and draws on his knowledge and experience to create effective solutions. Angus was recently appointed as Lipman’s Business Development Manager in 2015. Angus is well suited to this role given his success in building strong client relations through his exceptional communication skills, problem-solving and people management skills.

Elaine is a qualified accountant with CPA Australia and has over 18 years of experience in the Property, Building and Construction industry. Commencing with Lipman as Financial Controller in 2000, Elaine has group responsibilities which include the management of the group’s corporate governance, financial, accounting and taxation matters. Prior to that, she worked for a major international subcontractor firm and a reputable listed property developer. Elaine’s depth of experience in commerce within the industry, along with her versatility and people management skills are key attributes in ensuring Lipman continues to be a strong and healthy company. Her hands-on approach is equally valued as her strategic role as Finance Manager to all stakeholders, and reflects both her commitment to the team and the Board.

Mark started his career in the construction industry in 1982 and has progressed through roles of Leading Hand, Foreman, Site Manager and Project Manager. Mark joined Lipman as a Foreman in 1989 bringing ground up experience, expertise and a sound knowledge of the construction industry. Mark has wide experience in a variety of projects ranging from educational, commercial, industrial, residential and health care. Mark was appointed Construction Manager in 2010. An exceptional communicator, Mark’s project teams are always focussed and committed to the task at hand. Mark has a hands-on management style and is always out and about the site. Subcontractors and clients quickly learn to appreciate his commitment to the project goals. Mark has a proven track record of on time completion of projects above and beyond clients’ expectations.

Peter has 25 years’ experience in the construction industry. He joined Lipman in 2013 from Lucas Group Ltd where he had been Group Commercial Manager. He had also managed Lucas’s commercial team on the Southern Seawater Desalination Plant in Binningup. His stakeholder management and innovative thinking helped to deliver the project successfully and with high client satisfaction. Previously he was Commercial Manager for Buildcorp Australia Pty Ltd. Peter’s role is to understand and manage Lipman’s commercial risk and contractual obligations to ensure that Lipman is not exposed to excessive risk. He ensures sound financial reporting discipline for the delivery of cost reports and other financial information across the business.

Over 23 years of business management and improvement systems development, implementation and maintenance experience, within the Manufacturing, Servicing, Construction, and Operations & Maintenance industries. Turker has an extensive history of implementation and monitoring of Integrated Systems across a range of business units. This experience enables Turker to develop a thorough appreciation of each project’s unique requirements, working with the project team to develop Lipman’s Project Plan to reflect the specific WHS, Environmental and Quality outcomes. His attention to detail ensures that each Lipman project team has the support they need to successfully meet and exceed their client’s expectations regarding WHS, Environmental and Quality.

With over 35 years architectural experience, Wal brings extensive experience across a broad range of projects including residential, hotel, retail, commercial, education and recreation, covering all facets of design, documentation and administration. Wal’s dedication to detail and his extensive base knowledge of architectural details, material selections and good design practice, brings added depth to Lipman’s design management capabilities. Combined with Wal’s understanding of ESD and statutory compliance requirements, his clients can feel confident that the design team will deliver highly efficient, compliant and well designed building. Having been on the design team “side of the fence” Wal adds balance to the healthy debate a successful design team needs to deliver a quality product.

Andrew joined Lipman as a cadet in 2006 and gained experience working on a variety of projects. On the weight of an impressive track record in programming and dealing effectively with contractors & clients while working in large complex live environments, Andrew was promoted to a Project Management role in 2011. Andrew’s natural affinity with people & his proactive approach are a formidable combination. Clients & colleagues alike respond well to Andrew’s spirit of co-operation & his determination to find innovative solutions to the inevitable challenges. Andrew has been recently promoted to Lipman’s Regional Construction Manager in 2016.

Darren is a Construction & Design Manager with extensive experience on medium & large-scale commercial, residential, civil, & industrial projects to $100m+ budgets. Darren possesses a depth of experience in construction project management including stakeholder & landowner relationship management, the ability to liaise and prioritise key tasks with subcontracting staff, budget allocation, & delivering all milestones on time & to achieve overall project success. Darren also has extensive experience in a wide range of civil & water infrastructure projects & has the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

As part of this third generation family-owned company, Darryl has successfully lead the business to where it is today and will work closely with Lipman Senior Management in the future to build on the 78 year Bennett legacy.
