Lipman has won the contract for Urbnsurf Sydney, a new surf park lagoon and associated customer facilities to be built on the site of the P5 car park at Sydney Olympic Park.

The centre includes a 16,000 sqm lagoon with two surfing wave facilities, food and beverage facilities (café and restaurant offerings), learn-to-surf school, surf gear shop, gym, cabanas for hire and a swimming pool and children’s play areas.

The facility is supported by 136 parking spots. It is within walking distance from Sydney Olympic Park Train Station.

Solar panels on the roof of the facility’s services building will supplement the buildings’ power consumption.
