Adaptive reuse of warehouse
The Sydney Mansions contract involved the adaptive reuse of the original Mark Foys Warehouse into 115 New York style apartments over nine (9) levels.
The original façade was retained and restored and extended in carefully selected brickwork to enclose the top four (4) levels of apartments. Two (2) levels of basement car parking have been incorporated in space excavated below the original ground floor level and foundations to accommodate 85 cars.
