The main club works involved the partial demolition of the existing structure, complete internal strip-out and the construction of new areas such as the Sports Bar, Showroom, Male and Female Toilets, Pub and Alfresco Restaurant, Lounge Area, Basement Indoor Sports & Bar, Level 1 Terrace Bar, the main feature foyer area and extensive internal and external water features.

An additional 3 lifts and 2 escalators were installed within the existing structure, and the existing car park was extended by 2½ levels, allowing for an extra 300 car spaces.

The club remained operational throughout the works.
