The Ballina Coast High School Achieves Practical Completion

The Ballina Coast High School Achieves Practical Completion!

It was in August 2017 when Lipman/Bennett received the news of our first Joint Venture Project win, the Ballina Coast High School.

The accompanying Client Tender meetings were highlighted by the need to open before 1st term 2019, by any and all means.

As of last Friday 18th January the Ballina Coast High School achieved completion and is ready to welcome in the new students of 2019.

Well done to the team, who demonstrated amazing adaptive skills to get the Project across the line. The Project has had a strong Community and Department of Education focus throughout and has evolved drastically, with a scope increase of 30%, in what has finalised to become a State of the Art open learning facility and indeed one of the first ‘Super Schools’. The vibe throughout construction was one of positivity, with subbies and suppliers (local, Gold Coast and Brisbane) enjoying their participation in providing the Landmark Project for the community.
