RFBI Hawkins Project Site Celebrates SOD Turning

Congratulations Royal Freemasons’ Benevolent Institution (RFBI) on their SOD Turning Ceremony for RFBI Hawkins Masonic Village, which Rob MacKee, Paul Edwards and the project team had the pleasure to attend.

Alongside the Lipman team, at the ceremony were Mayor Kay Fraser and Councillor Brian Adamthwaite of Lake Macquarie Council, RFBI representatives, Project Management team, Planix and village residents.

This $50m project is investing in a high quality, safe and affordable aged care facility, the project is introducing new features of aged care, by constructing small households for up to 15 residents. The households will be connected by a community hub, which will provide indoor and outdoor entertainment areas as well as a variety of services such as a fitness centre, shops, hairdresser and more.

Now that the first ground breaking has occurred, Lipman Project Manager, David Peatfield, and the project team are well underway with the excavation works.

Lipman look forward to helping bring this project to life with RFBI and Planix Projects.
